But that's not a problem if you want to own one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level. In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on when it encounters one. What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure.
